Hi my name is Catherine and I’m a Bendy Mama!
I’ve been practising yoga for more than 15 years and teaching for the last six. I was trained by Marc Beauvain at the Healing Yoga school in London and I am accredited by the Krishnamacharya Healing and Yoga Foundation (India) and the British Wheel of Yoga (UK). I teach classical hatha yoga which is tailored to each student’s individual need and like to create a welcoming and happy environment wherever I teach.
At the end of last year my husband and I had our first baby and whilst pushing the pram in the park one day I had the idea for this blog, Bendy Mamas.
It dawned on me that now I have a baby, the days of being able to sneak into my yoga room to do an hour’s practice uninterrupted were long gone. So I realised if I wanted to have yoga in my life it needed to be integrated into the day to day business of caring for and enjoying these precious months and years with my child.
And so Bendy Mamas was born: a blog to share tips on how mums can use yoga every day and make it part of your life.
Just doing a little bit here and there has really helping me keep smiling and I hope it can do the same for you.
